Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has announced that star forward Lionel Messi is fit for Sunday's tricky trip to the Balaidos to face Celta Vigo.
The Argentina international had been a doubt for the Liga game in Galicia after sitting out his country's friendlies against El Salvador and Ecuador during the international break because of an ankle problem.
However, while Luis Enrique refused to confirm if Messi will start against Celta, he did reveal that the diminutive No.10 had come through Saturday's training session "without any problems".
The Barca boss told reporters: "He's in perfect condition. He's fine. He's definitely ready to play."
Meanwhile, despite the importance of game for Barca, who sit four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga, Luis Enrique admitted that he was looking forward to returning to Celta, whom he coached for a year before taking the top job at Camp Nou in 2014.
"I have very fond memories of Vigo," he added. "I'm excited to go back.
"Celta always try to play football the right way. They're having a great season and I'm happy for them."
