Bayern Munich are Europe’s most dominant team in terms of possession, according to the latest Huawei Team Ranking.

Roma are Serie A’s highest-placed representative in the possession charts in fourth position with an average of 62 per cent following their 2-0 loss versus Sampdoria on Monday.
Manchester United and Manchester City share fifth place with the same average of 60 per cent possession, although Manuel Pellegrini’s men still hold a two-point lead over their city rivals in the Premier League table.
Finally, Juventus, Real Madrid, Inter and Olympique de Marseille complete the top 10, with all four averaging 59 per cent possession.
At the bottom end of the table, Premier League side Crystal Palace seem to prefer to hit their opponents on the counterattack rather than dominate play, averaging 39 per cent so far in 2014-15, while Caen, Hertha, Levante and Chievo (all 41 per cent) have seen the least of the ball in France, Germany, Spain and Italy respectively.
